@kdfrawg lovely.

Before and after. Not a lot of damage to the fence. We also lost a shingle off the roof. Yep, a single shingle. Even though we are under a boil water advisory, we were VERY, VERY lucky. A lot of places in Eastern NC are still flooded with the worst yet to come. Some places are expecting record breaking flooding, one town has been told to expect 36 feet of water over the next couple of days. #nt
@hybotics I think Google and Verizon are the only ways to get the Pixel right now, and from what I've heard the Verizon comes with a lot of Verizon bloatware.

Made it home. The older kids are staying at my sister's because our power was still out when she picked them up this morning. Our water supply is contaminated which means we have to boil it before using it, so I picked up some more bottled water and gallons of water on my way home from the airport. We don't have much damage, mainly a tree that fell on part of our fence.
A lot of areas are still underwater and the flooding is supposed to get worse over the next couple of days. The town where my in-laws live is expected to see the worst flood on record, much worse than Hurricane Floyd in 1999.
Thankfully all my family and wife's family is okay, which is what matters. #nt
@hybotics I haven't used Android much, other than playing around with a phone in the store, or with a friend's phone and I've always liked Samsung's phones. The Google Pixel looks nice. It'll be interesting to see how it does.

@hybotics yep, though I think the brand already has been affected quite a bit. The trust in the brand has been broken and it's going to take time to repair that and a result a lot of consumers are going to be hesitant to buy another Samsung phone or Samsung product in general.
