@kdfrawg flying. Overnighting in Aiken, SC tonight. Early start tomorrow (05:45 cab to the airport). Taking one person to Hanover County, VA at and supposed to bring him back to Aiken at noon but the second leg is subject to change.

@kdfrawg this was the first time I had been to the beach there. I had been to Norfolk and Virginia Beach many times with my dad when we delivered eggs to grocery stores in the area. I've always enjoyed seeing the ships there. My sister lives on the Chesapeake Bay side and you can see part of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel from the beach near her place (about a three minute walk from her condo).
The Oceana Air Show was going on and we could hear the planes and got to see some flying over the water.

@sumudu I did. We drove to Virginia Beach (near Norfolk, Virginia if you're not familiar) to see my sister and spent the day at the beach. Planning more of the same for tomorrow before we go back home.
@larand that's what I like about my job. Once I get home, the work phone stays off until the day before I go back to work.

@kdfrawg He loves it. RDU has a dedicated observation deck and a balcony in the General Aviation Terminal. The observation deck was closed for renovations today so we went to the GA terminal but Alistair didn't care.
