@kdfrawg I’ve heard good things about NordVPN. You used to use Cloak, correct? Curious why you switched. I know the sale/acquisition thing last year made some people worry. I’m still using it but have contemplated switching to another service myself.

We got the approval for the septic pump today. The contractor is going to get the building permit tomorrow. #nt
If all goes well, we should be able to get the building permit next week and start building. We ran into another delay a couple of weeks ago when the builder went to apply for the building permit. The county wanted a site plan showing where everything was going to be and they had to go measure for the septic tank. They did that yesterday so we should be get the approval on Monday so the contractor can get the building permit.
We also need Hurricane Maria to stay way offshore.
We closed on the construction loan on Monday. The framers our builder/contractor uses are finishing up a house this week so we are on track to start building next week.
@kdfrawg once we do close, the builder should be able to start the foundation work right away. There may be a delay in getting framers lined up, but that just depends on timing.
@kdfrawg slow process right now. We had to switch lenders because the first appraisal came back a lot lower than we needed it to. The new appraisal came back where we needed it to and all the title work has been completed and the loan is in the final approval stage. Still secretly hoping to close this week but it'll probably be the week of August 7-11.
